I worked with a group of people on-site to provide a comfortable and welcoming climate for retreat members, spiritual practicioners, green thumbs, yogis, and guests. Around the property, I would help with outdoor work, such as watering the greenhouse, mulching the gardens, and harvesting produce. Moreover, I did housekeeping in the community areas and accomodations, as well as working as both assisting and lead chef for our mealtimes. These tasks were a part of my daily schedule, including more specialized and attentive schedules for when I assisted with hosting retreat groups, each around twenty guest members, that we would create a hospitable space for their meals and practice. This position has cultivated a lot of knowledge about community living, peaceful and spiritual practices, nourishing and maintaining land, and amiable guest services. This location specializes in meditation and yoga, but is also an organic permaculture farm and retreat center that often hosts travelling retreat groups.

I helped with planting trees, digging holes, watering seedlings, weeding, hoeing, broadforking, bouquet arranging, and harvesting vegetables and flowers.

I helped with writing thank you cards to donors, sending emails requesting donations, organizing donor lists, and doing social media research.
