With 20 years’ experience working as an architect on a wide range of different buildings and contract types, Fiona has a demonstrated track record of the delivery of high quality projects from concept to completion, giving her a strong understanding of the construction methodology and processes required in a successful project. Fiona has been responsible for the detail design and delivery of many of her projects, and she draws on her designs skills and technical knowledge to produce exemplar design solutions to meet the demands of each individual project. Her experience includes specialist areas such as laboratories, pharmaceutical manufacturing and clean rooms, in addition to commercial work including offices, education, hotel and leisure projects. Often working in a multi-disciplinary environment, she is experienced at managing a team and workload to meet programme deadlines and at information coordination on complex projects, within the project team and external consultants. Fiona also has a broad range of experience in report writing and production, utilising her strong graphics skills to create professional brochure style documents, with recent work focussing on bid writing and submission work.Fiona's notable projects include RBS World HQ in Edinburgh, when working as an Associate at award winning practice, Michael laird Architects; the Gateway office fit out for Citi Bank whilst working at Todd Architects, another award-winning practice. More recently, her work at White Ink Architects includes working as lead architect delivering the complex building envelope on the £165m Ulster University Belfast Campus, a D&B project designed by Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios, liaising closely with D&B contractor LSJV and lead architects, Scott Tallon Walker; and working as senior project architect on new £64m 623 bed Holiday Inn & Staybridge hotel at Heathrow.
