The project focused on supporting creative teaching and learning in supplementary school settings in London and Leicester. The project was evaluated by OPM (www.opm.co.uk). As project manager I:Managed a budget of over £70,000, and a team of 4 artists, 12 teachers and 60 pupils.Liaised between supplementary schools, artists, OPM, and CCE.Co-designed training sessions on creative learning methods and how to employ them in the classroom. Facilitated training sessions with supplementary school teachers and artists.Co-ordinated and monitored lessons in the four schools. Oversaw 60 pupils’ recruitment for and progress through the Sacred Spaces module and the Bronze Arts Award.Organised a celebratory event at the Royal Society, London, bringing together pupils from the four schools to interact and present their work. Wrote an article on the project published by ContinYou, one of the UK’s leading educational charities (www.continyou.org.uk)Organised and took part in round table and steering group meetings. Prepared project reports for CCE and documented the project using video, images, and interviews.
