The role was created as part of a newly developed Shared Services function in order to reduce cost, improve quality of hire, drive consistency, build brand awareness and deliver value to the business.The role evolved to have responsibility for all permanent and part time roles as well as some casual positions. Many of the roles are located in remote areas of Australia (e.g. the Kimberley, Cooper Basin)Spotless had a strong emphasis on the engagement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. This role had a particular requirement to work with Contract managers and Clients to ensure that the right strategies were in place to attract, develop and retain an Indigenous workforce..

A newly created position charged with the responsibility for implementing and managing a Careers Centre within Telstra. Previously all recruitment activity had been devolved to line managers and handled exclusively by Recruitment Companies. The role was to build and manage an in house Careers Centre under an RPO arrangement with Talent 2. Also accountable for the implementation of the technology platform (Taleo) and a new supplier panel.
