I have worked for Cardiff Council, Zurich financial services, and for this last year, I have been working in Sydney, Australia for the World Wide Fund for Nature and for the Australian Diabetes Council. All my jobs have involved customer service, accurate record keeping, liaising with other departments/agencies and use of databases. I have cash handling and payment of supplier and customer invoices experience. I have trained staff and tested new ICT systems. I have volunteered for a number of projects in addition to my work. During my time at the Council, I devised and produced training packs and procedures for staff in the new Civil Parking Enforcement Department. I produced standard letters for queries and issues that were adopted by the department and used by everyone. I also set up the paper filing system and taught others how to use it.
