Working to help health care professionals have conversations with parents who have terminal or life limiting illness to support them in talking about their illness with their dependent children. Other recent work includes an exploration of the impact of intersectionality on palliative and end of life care.A former international tax professional with extensive experience of business related tax issues gained both in a Big 4 environment and FTSE 50 industrials. A proven track record of leading and executing complex cross functional and multi territory projects while quickly building robust long lasting relationships. Fiona’s prior experience has provided her with a wide range of transferable skills for her second career in Psychology, for example, independent research, problem solving, conflict resolution, critical thinking and the confidence and curiosity to always challenge herself. Fiona is passionate about improving health and illness based on a combination of social, biological, and psychological factors. Her view is small impacts and changes can be enormous for an individual. Fiona's MSc dissertation focussed on Misophonia and provided her with excellent hands on qualitative research experience. Fiona is open to research where she can make a difference, for example, increasing cancer screening uptake and understanding inequalities in access to healthcare.
