- Responsible for communicating UEA's news, information and messages to an internal audience of c.4,000 staff and 15,000 students. - Manage all central internal communications channels, writing and editing various types of articles and features - ensuring all are on brand and adhering to house style.- Lead on internal communications planning for strategically important university projects such as the annual National Student Survey. - Manage the university's student Twitter account, preparing and scheduling posts relevant to the audience and responding to follower queries.- Co-edited the award-winning annual university magazine Ziggurat, managing copywriters, photographers and design agency.

Role split between managing internal communications for the staff and students at the university, and external corporate communications, including regional and corporate press releases and crisis communications. Projects included managing media around honorary graduates before and during the annual Graduation Week, writing university statements for the press and producing monthly printed staff magazine 'Broadview' - writing and editing all copy, sourcing images and laying up all pages in Adobe InDesign.

Editor of Your Local Magazine, 48-page monthly magazine covering south Norfolk and north Suffolk. Solely responsible for laying out publication in Adobe InDesign, designing adverts, writing all editorial copy and sourcing/taking photographs.

UEA’s 48-page fortnightly student newspaper. Paid to manage a team of 30 section editors along with over 300 contributors. Created flat plan for each issue, ensured all pages were filled with appropriate and well-written copy. Completed final proofread before preparing print-ready files.

Produced a magazine highlighting the services on offer to students from the Student Union; an A-Z of useful services for students in Norwich; and a voucher section. Wrote all copy and laid out magazine using Adobe InDesign,

Paid to lead a team of three to produce a handbook for all new students at the university. Liaised with Advertising Manager to produce adverts for local companies, oversaw all copy, image and page production, and worked with the printers to ensure prompt print schedule.
