Full-time communications and stakeholder engagement resource on the project working with the construction team to balance progress with managing interactions and impacts to local schools, businesses, property owners, residents and road users.Key highlights include coordinating the installation of noise/screen walls on residential properties along the 8km highway alignment; closely working with local schools on legacy projects and the construction of nesting boxes; and being a member of the team’s Sustainability Committee which shaped the Project’s Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia ‘Leading’ rating of 93 for design, and 95.2 for as-built – the highest IS Rating score to date by an infrastructure project across Australia and New Zealand. Nominated by management for the National Association of Women in Construction award in Social Responsibility category in 2017. Received a Judges Commendation. A massive honour to be nominated being my first community relations role on a project.
