I am extremely passionate about startups and working with like-minded business people. I believe that there is huge potential in the Australian market for startup growth and I’m determined to help facilitate that process.I have had the privilege of building and executing on my own Incubator program (with great assistance from some extremely kind and passionate mentors) and successfully taking what was just an idea in February 2015 to an investment-ready start-up in just 7 months. I then went on as Co-Founder of an exciting ad-tech start-up, through to CEO and successfully negotiated an exit.Working with Project Everest Ventures and combining my commercialisation experience with a social impact lens, opened my eyes to the power of social enterprise and the importance of a commercial mindset to facilitate strong social outcomes (and measure them). I have thrived while navigating companies through many unforeseen challenges and these experiences, while often difficult, have given me the resilience and temperament to enable me to consistently apply my skills in different complex environments. I enjoy, and excel at, building strong relationships with my colleagues and stakeholders, both internal and external. I am a team player with a growth mindset, gaining enjoyment from both sides of a coaching relationship.I am continuously motivated to utilise my broad skill set and passion for early-stage ventures and growth companies, by continuing to work with founders, their teams, and relevant players in the Australian Startup ecosystem.
