Fiona combines the skills of a journalist, campaigner and researcher, and has a particular interest in social justice and migrants' rights. She is commissioning editor (since Feb 24) and former editor of Legal Action (lag.org.uk) magazine (2014-2016 - winning the Halsbury Legal Journalism award in 2015); and was comms and campaigns director at the award-winning charity Just for Kids Law (justforkidslaw.org) (2014-2018). Fiona worked extensively on Just for Kids Law's #stillachildat17 campaign, which won a change in the law over the treatment of 17 year olds at the police station; and its 'Let us Learn' campaign, supporting young migrants who were blocked from going to university.She is author of 'Chasing Status: If not British, then what am I?'
