“Daring with Caring”Hi I’m Fiona and I’ve been coaching, facilitating and consulting for over 20 years. Recently I have moved my business to the virtual platforms of MS Teams, Zoom and Webex. I’ve worked in Retail, Sales, Advertising, Finance, and more recently Engineering and Professional services. I find the industry doesn’t really change or impact what I do as it’s the people that I work with who matter. Essential skills (or soft skills as they used to be called) are universal (although sadly not universally applied). Using a variety of tools like DiSC & LSI which help profile strengths and areas for improvement, my main success is helping managers who struggle to be the leaders they both need to be and want to be. My motto ‘Daring with Caring’: I recently asked a client who went through an 18 month emerging leader programme with me; ‘what did I do that impacted him the most?’ he said that “You create a safe space and make everyone feel that they can trust you by connecting personally with them. I felt you truly cared about my outcomes and were invested in my future with me. You believed in me before I did and that meant a lot. You also ‘dare to show caring’ and don’t remain aloof.” What you can expect? You can expect to be supported yet pushed, stretched yet confident, be given as much information as you can handle and then a little more, asked to constantly reflect on your behaviour and the impact it has on others, and most importantly to be challenged to be the best version of yourself you can be! As a result; you will be able to build leadership capability and team performance through increasing self awareness and connecting authenticially to others.
