Upwey Cellars was purchased as and existing Packaged Liquor outlet in October 2004. Revenues were quickly doubled with Marketing and Product Development programs and secured the business as the major Liquor outlet in the extended area. Less than 12 months later and additional store was opened in a neighbouring location. Successful programs that have been implemented included hiring and development of local staff and management, development of unique Wine portfolio with and emphasis local and Clean Skin produce and development of a unique Craft and Micro Beer portfolio. The business was able to support many community programs and sporting clubs with sponsorship and other tangible support.
