• Studied the operation of the Pan Floor to determine whether a continuous operation could be implemented rather that the existing batch system.
• Envisaged the system concept for prediction of steam consumption to minimise fuel wastage within the boilers. Commenced development of the system prior to leaving for maternity leave.
• Attended HAZOP and computer systems training programs.
