The domains I was involved in were in workflow development especially in their medical oncologymodule, app-based products and artificial intelligence application.
Consulting Clinical Informatics Specialist
As a subject matter expert, service designer, UX designer and product owner, I have worked in a small, high-functioning team to implement an unusually complex project of transitioning HCW's Oncology Informatics System- MOSAIQ and SmartClinic- from a legacy system in 5 months during Auckland Level 3 and 4 conditions. My role as a consultant was mostly remote with some site visits during key stages of the project. Main contribution to this project was in safe clinical change management, workflow design and implementation and facilitating clinical and business rule change. This was achieved through quantitative and qualitative primary and secondary research of the workflow pre and post-implementation to ensure the product realised its benefits and it remained people-centric and effective for the business and their future multi-centre strategy.Our project team had a safe, innovative and agile culture within to achieve this audacious end goal. We not only digitised the existing medical oncology & allied health practices but also underwent a major digital transformation through changing the clinical and business workflows. We also integrated our billing system with Xero in the process. Post- go-live, we have implemented a data analytics tool (MOA) and interfaces to further improve the quality of care through transforming the overall clinical and business practices.
