I am a passionate and knowledge learning designer specialising in behavioural learning which creates a positive difference to people in the bank and help them makes simple, every day changes which enables learners to move their 'mountains'. I engage with staff at all levels and facilitate training and conversations on a variety of materials designed to help people improve their performance. I aim to challenge current ways of thinking and doing things in order to bring long term success to them and the business. I'm also a passionate champion of Inclusion within the workplace and am actively involved in promoting positive attitudes towards mental health awareness throughout the business.I also love to run (when the injuries allow!) and love a 10K or half marathon for a good charity cause!

My role involved the Regulatory sign off of Financial Promotions materials for Savings and Packaged accounts across all RBS brands including customer facing printed materials (letters/welcome packs/leaflets), posters, radio and TV adverts and digital marketing.I also used my intranet development expertise to redesign the Financial Promotions Approvals intranet pages and content to make it easier for stakeholders to work with us and manage queries in to the team better. This resulted in easier navigation and better use of the information and tools that submitters need to get Regulatory sign off of their promotions, and much positive feedback from users.Responsibilities: - Provide sign off and/or feedback for Financial Promotions materials, ensuring that they meet Regulatory standards set down for that product and the medium used- Ensure products are represented clearly and fairly to our customers to make sure they can make an informed decision regarding product choice- Engage with stakeholders involved in the design process (RBS Legal, Products, Marketing) early in projects to ensure a smooth sign off process and provide early Regulatory advice on proposed content- Establish and build strong stakeholder relationships to encourage positive collaboration on work- Remain abreast of current FCA regulations regarding Financial Promotions and apply these to marketing submissions- Educate Financial Promotion submitters when a non-compliant rating is given, so they can understand why it was rejected and what they need to include for a complaint sign off - Redesign and managed the team intranet pages, including the addition of an online enquiry form to allow submitters to quickly get small queries answered or arrange for a more formal discussion of larger planned projects to take place in a timely fashion
