Engaged Orbit Housing Association residents to understand the costs of starting a new tenancy in social housing. Worked as part of a team of 4 consultants to to bring dynamism and creativity to concrete challenges facing Orbit and its residents, including child poverty, rent arrears and the poverty premium.Applied service design thinking and human-centred research principles to prioritise potential solutions to reduce household costs, including energy bill switching, part-furnished tenancies, and partnerships with childcare providers. Recommended solutions with the potential to save residents up to £1,600 a year.

Sparked enthusiasm and curiosity by training staff in how to become a data-driven GP practice. Designed data toolkit to shift the team beyond monitoring targets, to better understanding and visualising trends in the health of the local population. Led Population Health project in partnership with East London Foundation Trust. This involved facilitating workshops to bring together clinicians, patients and health data to co-produce better ways to support people experiencing both long term conditions and mental ill-health.Championed making health data accessible and involving patients in participatory data analysis projects.

I headed up one of the research teams at nfpSynergy; a research consultancy that works solely with non-profit organisations. I really love the ethos of nfpSynergy- they are committed to working for the overall health of the charity sector, not for their own profit. In my role as Head of the Influencer Audiences Research team, I helped charities evaluate and strengthen their engagement with MPs, journalists and healthcare professionals. I led on nfpSynergy's parliamentary research at Westminster and across the devolved nations.I delivered research projects for a range of charities, from surveying successful grantees and unsuccessful applicants for BBC Children in Need, to a conducting a comprehensive audit of Girlguiding’s data sources to set and monitor Key Performance Indicators for their Strategic Plan.
