Kirkman Family Law is a specialist family law mediation firm that assists people who have separated and assists clients in the area of wills and estates. We are motivated by compassion to provide a holistic, flexible and amicable alternative to the resolution of family law and wills and estates issues.I am a Nationally Accredited Mediator and Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner and have been appointed to the Law Society's Mediation Panel. I am also an Accredited Specialist in Family Law with extensive experience working in law firms, almost exclusively in the area of family law. In addition to my mediation and legal training and experience, I have trained as an Independent Children's Lawyer and Mental Health First Aider. I have also completed training in Bachelor of Critical Psychology and through AVERT Family Violence and PeaceWise (Christian solutions to conflict). This legal, mediation and social science background enables me to bring to the mediation table a thorough understanding of the Family Law system and the emotional issues impacting families during separation.I can mediate all family law parenting, property and child support matters, with or without legal representatives, and issue Section 60I Certificates (which enables people to file an application in court if a parenting agreement is not reached).
