In elementary school, I used to assign myself research reports on topics ranging from the moon phases and safari animals to new movies and Webkinz (I wonder how mine are doing…). In high school, I joined the school newspaper so that I could amplify the stories of students and community members that would otherwise go untold. In college, I majored in marketing as a way to harness my love for storytelling and research in helping to solve complex business issues.It comes as no surprise, then, that I ended up in strategy.Following my own curiosities has gotten me to where I am today. Lucky for me, the world of strategy embraces this, and has allowed me to dig deeper, ask the right questions and dive into some of the most interesting topics that I would’ve never explored otherwise.As a strategist, I am able to bridge the gap between the analytical, data-driven side of my brain and the creative, imaginative side. I enjoy finding new ways to tackle problems, working closely alongside others and nerding out on the latest happenings in the industry and cultural trends in greater society.This curiosity-driven spirit has led me to some pretty fun places outside of work as well. You can find me climbing, reading, hiking and working to perfect my skincare routine (a lifelong pursuit) in my free time.
