I am deeply involved in pro bono work, having organized legal clinics to assist those in need. My efforts range from submitting a written statement to Congress on the need for a startup visa, to suing the Trump Administration pro bono over the controversial Muslim Travel Ban. I was honored with awards such as the AILA Pro Bono Champion, Chicago-Kent College of Law Outstanding Pro Bono Service Award (O’Hare Airport Attorneys - Travel Ban), and the Elmer Gertz Award for Human Rights.I recently published my second book, U.S. Immigration Options for Startups: Accelerate Your American Dream; an eBook that guides you through the immigration options available for startups and entrepreneurs in the U.S.
