I'm Fiona McEntee, an award-winning immigration attorney, and the proud Founder and Managing Attorney of McEntee Law Group. I pride myself on creative and passionate advocacy. I have a strong focus on the O-1 visa/EB-1A green card, and on immigration options for startups.My passion for immigration law is rooted deeply in my journey from Dublin, Ireland, to Chicago, where I now advocate for those seeking the American Dream. Having moved to the U.S. as an international student in 2002, I've experienced firsthand the complexities of the immigration process. My commitment to education and advocacy (and being the mom of 2 young kids) led me to author "Our American Dream," a children's book on the importance of diversity and inclusion in America. I am deeply involved in pro bono work, having organized legal clinics to assist those in need. My efforts range from submitting a written statement to Congress on the need for a startup visa, to suing the Trump Administration pro bono over the controversial Muslim Travel Ban. I was honored with awards such as the AILA Pro Bono Champion, Chicago-Kent College of Law Outstanding Pro Bono Service Award (O’Hare Airport Attorneys - Travel Ban), and the Elmer Gertz Award for Human Rights.I recently published my second book, U.S. Immigration Options for Startups: Accelerate Your American Dream; an eBook that guides you through the immigration options available for startups and entrepreneurs in the U.S.
