Clyde Gateway is Scotland’s largest and most ambitious regeneration area which exists to drive inward investment and improvement for the people and communities across the east end of Glasgow and South Lanarkshire.I work in partnership with a wide range of public, private and not-for-profit organisations to improve conditions for economic growth for business and quality of life for residents of the Clyde Gateway area. I lead on employer engagement, with a particular emphasis on Clyde Gateway's well established business partnerships and networks.I keep up to date with relevant key policies e.g. Inclusive Growth, Community Wealth Building, Clyde Mission, Developing the Young Workforce, Child Poverty, etc.I develop, engage and maintain key relationships with further and higher education and training providers.

I manage a team of experienced Operations Team Leaders/Lead Advisors, ensuring that customer service standards are consistently high and that services remain accessible for local people, with a particular focus on datazones. Providing statistical reports and forecasts are key elements of this role as is maintaining effective working relationships with partners and stakeholders.• Manage day to day activities of programmes, teams, and individuals to achieve contract targets• Maintain an awareness of key local and national policies including Developing the Young Workforce and Child Poverty Strategy• Provide regular forecasts, figures and reports to the Deputy Chief/Chief Executive and wider Management Team, funders, and stakeholders• Manage and control financial budgets to deliver a cost-effective service whilst achieving contract targets• Maintain and improve effectiveness and efficiency of contract delivery• Contribute to and drive organisational planning, strategy, and initiatives• Monitor and review performance, including conducting biannual performance appraisals • Analyse statistics from various systems including Salesforce and Upshot• Working with local employers to secure exclusive vacancies for participants by promoting recruitment incentives. • Address any staff discipline or grievance issues, maintaining appropriate records in accordance with company procedures.• Present performance reports and take minutes at quarterly board meetings.
