Together with the Strategic Insights & Planning team, I work to make Bord Bia and the companies it supports insights led.Prior to Bord Bia, I worked as an Insights and Strategy Manager in William Grant & Son’s (WGS) Planning Division (WGS is an independent, family-owned Scottish company which distills some of the world’s leading spirits brands. I worked with the WGS Non-Scotch portfolio which includes Hendrick’s Gin, Sailor Jerry Rum and Tullamore D.E.W.). During this time, I provided insights and strategic direction to the Global Brand Teams’ in the development of global brand strategy including consumer audience development, optimisation of key creative communication, experiential and activation platforms, as well as innovation opportunity identification and development. In my career to date, I have worked in research agencies globally driving results in a range of industries including, FMCG, Quick Service Restaurants, Sport and Entertainment, Telecommunications and Financial Services.I have a genuine curiosity for people and a passion for understanding what motivates their behaviour. I’ve always been lucky enough to be in a position which I thoroughly enjoy most days – I enjoy the problem solving, the innovation, and the fact that I get to work with people who are some of the best at what they do.
