Working as an executive responsible for brand strategy, I realised the most powerful lever for brands to deliver on their purpose was through the engagement and commitment of the organisation's people. Through working with leaders keen to create a culture that is adaptive, resilient and has the capacity to meet our ever changing world, the importance of gender balance as a strategic imperative emerged. The more I researched the benefits of an integrated, diverse workforce it became clear that organisations function best when we include a multitude of perspectives and opinions. Unfortunately, the pipeline for female talent is compromised in many organisations by a complex web of structural, cultural and personal dynamics. This led to the co-authoring of Core Confidence - a practical how to for women wanting to advance their careers and an exploration of the advocacy that will address the systemic barriers that exist.Having worked in senior roles in brand strategy and management, sales and marketing, I appreciate the pressures and challenges leaders face. My facilitation strength is to draw out the best from individuals and teams, while ensuring we remain focused on achieving the desired results. and creating engagement and the desired results.
