I have been a leader in a variety of industries for close to 30 years. This has shaped me. With a track record of growing business, optimizing processes and leading teams, I have built profitable business relationships on a national and international level and led significant organizational changes.At the same time, I have experienced what it is like to be a female leader in male-dominated environments. I have been privileged to have had wonderful male and female mentors and was often given the chance to advance my career. Equally, I have experienced discrimination and unfair treatment and have often felt discouraged to lead in a manner that is authentic to me. For the last 15 years I have been actively engaged in supporting women through Zonta International. Most recently I have expanded my efforts here to include strengthening #femaleentrepreneurs through the platform 2030* that I co-founded in 2022.My personal mission is to make the world a better place by fully leveraging the intelligence, talents and resilience of women. Women and men complement each other, as do non-binary people and people with diverse backgrounds, nationalities, etc. Diverse teams simply make better decisions. I am fortunate to be in the position to combine my extensive experience and knowledge of the world of business with my understanding of women’s needs and abilities, to help shape our society and make it a fairer and healthier place. I do that through my job as Partner at HuntingHer – the first Female Executive Search company in Germany. We support companies to achieve their diversity goals and thereby improve their performance and enhance their company culture. And additionally through my platform 2030* and my voluntary activities at important organisations like Zonta International, FidAR, VDU, BVMW, etc. One of my greatest joys is interacting and collaborating with like-minded people. Men and women interested in advancing gender equality, keen to find solutions to the roadblocks in the system, actively engaged in changing mindsets and creating positive change.
