I’m a political and campaign specialist, advising ambitions companies and organisations in reputation, campaigns and communications. I provide expert and candid advice to boards and senior leaders of some of the UK’s most successful companies, institutions and political organisations.I’m a former Executive Director with the Labour Party and Director in the North of England, and also used to run Labour’s Party’s regional and national teams across the UK. I’ve led over 100 political campaigns including the Connecting Britain cross-party campaign to secure the Government’s positive decision on HS2 and Northern Powerhouse Rail, and headed up advocacy for the Northern Powerhouse Partnership (NPP). Alongside advising on national issues, I also specialise in offering clients a deep understanding of the business, policy and political landscape in Scotland and the North of England. I’m also a Director of Our Scottish Future, the campaigning think-tank founded by former Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
