Responsible for hiring, coaching and directing the NPD team and setting team and personal objectives annually. Experience of working with challenging fish species including Tuna, Sea Bass, Squid, Sea Bream.

Management of both the NPD and packaging origination process from concept through launch. Management of critical paths and resource for a team of 5 to deliver NPD projects in line with retailer brief, on time and within budget. Member of the site senior management team.

Full responsibility for all artwork and design for the Fraserburgh operation, as well as Management of ALL M&S NPD from the site. Very close close working with Product Developers and Packaging Technologists across all major retailers (5 categories in M&S, 3 in Sainsburys, 2 in ASDA, 1 in COOP). Responsible for creation of pack copies to create artwork using online specification systems. Worked closely with primary packaging suppliers for NPD lines and was involved in several challenging packaging projects including M&S 'Speciality' smoked salmon.

Management of the M&S dedicated NPD team (of 3) with full responsibility from concept to launch. Led site development of the innovative M&S 'Cook' range. (Macrae Foods and latterly purchased by Young's Seafood)

Building the relationship between Young's (Macrae Foods) & M&S commercial teams at the Concept NPD stage. Involved in several M&S/Youngs Market research projects across all of the site manufacturing categories. Responsible for all NPD concept presentations to M&S Led the first ever Youngs (Macrae Foods) launches into the M&S Party food category. (Macrae Foods - latterly purchased by Young's Seafood)

Responsible for all new product launches at a graduate NPD technologist level. Working across site functions as well as building relationships with several major retailers. (Fisher Foods - Purchased by Macrae Foods and latterly purchased by Young's Seafood)
