In 2018 the Biennale strategically purchased a central Ballarat building to convert into the now National Centre for Photography which had its launch exhibition in 2019. In 2020 the Biennale received $6.7M to further renovate.During her time as CEO/Artistic director of the Biennale (5.5 years) she has: curated over 30 exhibitions; exhibited over 400 artists; commissioned more than 10 curators; developed and toured 2 major First Nations exhibitions; raised over $20M for exhibitions and the new gallery; welcomed over 95,000 audience to the Biennale (3 festivals); developed strong long term relationships with key Government, philanthropic and arts donors; and mentored more than 30 industry placement curators and arts administrators.
