I continued working part time on research project "Low cost crash barriers made from natural materials".

Research project titled "Low cost crash barriers made from natural materials". Duties included: Theoretical momentum calculations and material analysis. High speed impact testing. Barrier design and cost analysis. Material testing for use in multibody modelling. Creation of a specification document for a new product and completion of multiple reports on various aspects of the project. I have co-authored four papers from this project. Project sponsored by the National Roads Authority of Ireland.
