Having conceived developed and run events for local Rugby Club, on a voluntary basis, over the previous number of years including the Munster International Youth Rugby Festival and the International Tours to England and Wales I saw a market to expand this to bring organisations into and offer clubs the opportunity of international travel from Ireland to various events. Thus with two other Directors we have developed the company SixNationTours Ltd. which offer event management to sporting clubs, in particular Rugby, where we can organise the whole event for the club and deliver a favourable financial reward to the club.

In researching the project and bringing it to fruition I have had to deal with various bodies, including government agencies to insure that we had a proper legal and financial basis to proceed. We also researched the customer database and have over 4,000 club contacts in the home nations alone.

In this, the companies inaugural year, we would hope to organise approximately 8 events and to add the same number of events to our calendar for the next five years.

While I am in control of the accounting for the company we are being supervised by Robert Casey & Co, Day place to insure that all our procedures are correct.
