Since starting my degree I took up a role as a Sales Associate for Staples working part-time 8-16 hours a week. At Staples I have continued my previous selling success, extending this to product merchandise, insurance plans and business accounts.

In my first three weeks of placement I worked alongside the supporting sales team following up on customer quotations, queries and providing assistance to account managers with general activities using a Sage CRM system and vendor attributed websites. Sourcing and providing specifications for set products and solutions.After this I undertook a role directly supporting account managers generating business from new and existing customers in the following areas:- Microsoft - SAM- Networking- Storage and VirtualisationIn two months of targeting customers through phone and email I managed to generate 20 opportunities of which 25% had been fully signed off by the time I left the company.I also gained knowledge focusing on the following areas:- Microsoft Outlook- Mimecast - General account management - Business supply chain- Other vendors and B2B partner events

I worked in Debenhams in Colchester for three years part-time, where I built up a proven track record of selling both store and credit cards to customers.
