After growing up and hearing stories from his Mom and Dad on why they left their coveted country, Italy (to find a better life for their family in America and doing so with $5.00 in their pocket and not speaking a lick of English), Phil fully understands what it means for people to realize their dreams and the lengths they will go in order to provide for their families.
