I am a postdoctoral researcher at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), where I am deeply engaged in projects that couples artificial intelligence and machine learning models with fluid mechanics. I hold a PhD in sciences from KU Leuven My doctoral work focused mainly on the following topics: Flux Reconstruction schemes, r-refinement algorithms, p-refined multi-level Monte Carlo methods for uncertainty quantification, compressible flows and plasma simulations with shock waves.Prior to my PhD, I earned a Master’s degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Aeronautical Engineering from ULB and VUB, and an Advanced Research Master's Degree from the Von Karman Institute (VKI), where I specialized in adaptive mesh algorithms for flow and plasma simulations. Following my PhD, I completed an additional postdoctoral engagement at KU Leuven's Centre for Plasma Astrophysics (CmPA), working on high-order computational fluid dynamics (CFD) methods.My skills span programming, numerical analysis, simulation, and optimization. I am driven by a mission to contribute to the production and dissemination of cutting-edge scientific knowledge and to address complex, multidisciplinary challenges.
