 Responsible for generating top line revenue and growing market share indexes and the management of all sales and marketing efforts  Develop business leads, solicit potential clients, service existing accounts, meet and exceed quarterly and yearly sales goals  Attain budgeted revenues, responsible for all marketing efforts including internet marketing, advertising, and social media  Prepare reports pertaining to the operation of the Sales department to include but not limited to annual and monthly forecast, marketing budget, group booking pace report, star reports, and sales reports  Maintain knowledge of market, competition and customers  Discover and target new business and revenue streams which are not currently being explored  Work with General Manager to establish annual revenue and sales & marketing budget  Develop rates, group sales and catering deployment strategies through review of competitive data, demand analysis and mix management  Anticipate and identifies issues and opportunities by thinking ahead. Gather facts, listens effectively, weigh alternatives and apply independent judgment to propose solutions in resourceful manner To conduct on-site client inspections and entertainment weekly

 Daily Responsibilities: achieves new business booking goals by making sales calls to prospective clients in accordance with pre-assigned goals. Coordinate with various departments the activities related to book business, negotiate rate and service plans to meet budgeted revenue goals.  Manage the sales department to ensure activity and booking goals are met or exceeded. Develop action plans to ensure the success. Interview, hire, manage, reward and discipline associates as necessary.  Strategic Planning: Develop and execute an annual business plan  Client Services: responsible for client satisfaction by ensuring overall quality of group, transient and catering sales efforts in a friendly and professional manner.  Account Management: ensure account productivity by maintaining client satisfaction and continuous rapport building through regular sales calls and proper file maintenance.  Marketing: develop and implement special promotions to increase business from specific market segments.
