• Initiate the process of evidence-informed policymaking in South-East Asia and to assist with the global exercise of developing tools for the process of formulating and implementing policies and programs informed by the best available evidence.• Coordinate a critical review of the summary of evidence for Maternal, Neonatal, Child health interventions included in the LiST module of the OneHealth tool. • Performance of new and updated systematic reviews and assessment of the evidence using GRADE. • Complete and coordinate a research prioritization exercise with respect to 8 areas of child health using an adapted CHNRI process. • Responsibilities include: developing search strategies for identifying experts and researchers, collating all responses to invitations to submit prioritization questions, co-ordinate and prepare for a meeting in Geneva of technical experts.

Evidence collections / resources:• Works to ensure that review summaries relevant to COVID-19 carried on Evidence Aid’s website are robust, high-quality, clearly-written and accessible to our user groups.• Work to support Evidence Aid’s network of volunteer review writers to ensure a consistently high quality of plain-English review summaries.• Work with the Programme Operations Manager and other staff to ensure that Evidence Aid identifies relevant COVID-19 reviews quickly and effectively, ensuring the collection remains as relevant and comprehensive as possible for our user-group.Networks and partnerships:• Foster relationships with strategic partners through relationship-building and collaborative programming, working with the CEO to develop joint proposals where required.• Represent Evidence Aid as required in COVID-19 research coordination mechanisms and other forums.Improving and demonstrating effectiveness:• Work with the CEO to develop robust mechanisms to gather and analyse data on Evidence Aid’s performance, in particular feedback from user groups, which we can use to demonstrate effectiveness to key stakeholders, including donors.• Work with the Leadership team to ensure that Evidence Aid continuously reviews and adapts its approach in response to this evidence so as to maximise effectiveness.Programme communications:• Works with the CEO and Communications Manager to communicate clearly to Evidence Aid’s stakeholders (including donors) about Evidence Aid’s work and its impact.People management:• Manages, as required, any staff, consultants or interns recruited to support programme activities.Leadership:• Acts as a member of the Organisational Leadership Team during the COVID- 19 project, contributing to the strategic development of Evidence Aid.• With the Leadership Team, take collective responsibility for funding Evidence Aid’s COVID-19 work, supporting the development of proposals and bids with robust budgets and delivery plans.
