As an intern at CIAC, my role in the Vulnerability Management pillar involves identifying and mitigating cyber risks. Perform systems analysis, assess vulnerabilities and prioritize the application of patches. Monitor security updates, contribute to periodic reports, and collaborate with development teams to integrate security measures. Active contribution to the organization's safety culture through training programs. In short, I strengthen the resilience of the organization's cyber environment by applying security concepts and collaborating effectively.

During the Cybersecurity Internship, I have acquired practical knowledge on risk assessment and vulnerabilities, applying configurations of firewall rules, while supporting users through Service Desk tickets. I have also participated in projects implementing security policies and incident response plans, learning about conformities and the relevant regulations. I also gained experience in incident response, working as a team to contain and investigate threats, and understanding the importance of clear and effective communication.The experience was transformative, preparing me to follow a career in Cybersecurity and work with tools such as firewalls, monitoring software, access control software, EDR monitoring, security protocols and cryptography, smart backup, and employee training content review.

On the Workana platform, I had the opportunity to work on diverse projects in different Information Technology areas. This allowed me to expand my knowledge and become more versatile in my technical skills.As a freelancer, I had the opportunity to communicate directly with the clients, understanding their needs and expectations, contributing to my interpersonal skills with negotiation, expectations management, and clear and objective communication. Each project on the platform represented learning opportunities, facing unique challenges in each task, which incentivized me to search for new knowledge and solutions for specific problems. The nature of the projects I worked on required the capacity to solve problems efficiently and creatively. This experience made me more agile in the identification and solution of technical challenges and also in the time management of each project to ensure I would be able to deliver the projects within the deadlines established by the clients, which different necessities and requirements taught me how to be more adaptable to different context and needs.Technologies and methodologies used: - Python - PostgreSQL - Java - JUnit - Kotlin - C# - Power BI - Cloud AWS - SDLC - Kanban- Scrum

This work of huge importance required a high level of attention due to the manipulation and indexation of the data to the chosen software, in a way that follows the detailed rules.
