Growing up in a Christian household environment, my life was blessed with numerous friends and family members who were fellow followers of Christ. I was fortunate to attend a private Christian school throughout my elementary and ongoing secondary education in Richmond. My parents were second-generation immigrants from mainland China, where they were raised under the teachings of Chinese communism before arriving in Canada and encountering Christ. Despite being born in Shanghai China, I have resided in Canada for most of my life. Growing up, I have always been passionate about the medical field and healthcare, particularly about the employment of AI and robotics in the digital healthcare world. I have always pondered the enigmas of healthcare in the medical society. I understand the significance of robotics playing a crucial role in present-day hospitals, industries, and laboratories to enhance efficiency and safety for humans. I aim to acumen how global technological innovations, such as the Da Vinci Robot and the PARO therapeutic robot, are shaping our future. I enjoy researching and exploring various medical subjects such as breast cancer, AIDs, hypertension and immunizations, as my vision as a youth is for the globe to advance to a future for healthcare is accessible for all. Thus, I aspire to become a competent doctor in the next 20 years to accomplish this objective. My understanding of the healthcare system crisis has enabled me to aim for attending medical school majoring in health sciences and receiving a minor in biochemistry.As a youth, I am dedicated to contributing to my community by engaging and collaborating with people of diverse backgrounds in global healthcare and technological crises. I enjoyed partaking in various non-profit organizations such as Results Canada, Canadian Red Cross, and Canadian Cancer Society as an active volunteer to investigate and advocate how healthcare has influenced society. In the past year, I aimed to execute my goals and passions in medicine to promote accessible healthcare.The transcendent moments of joy and elation in my life have enabled me to acknowledge God’s plan and will to implement these strenuous trials in my journey. I believe in God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, as He is present with me for guidance, comfort, and strength. My LORD Jesus Christ has manifested goodness and grace, truth and love, and woven me as His beloved child.
