As a food educator at Plan Bee Academy, I effectively taught special needs middle schoolers throughout the duration of a course basic and essential culinary knowledge consisting of how to handle equipment in the kitchen, how to perform proper food safety, and how to follow recipes. This was all executed in an engaging hands-on lab and coursework I created. The days I was not running my course at Plan B Academy I was a teacher assistant helping special needs high schoolers with their class work and behavioral plan education.

I was an intro to culinary arts teacher's assistant for one accelerated class. I would help the Chef demo knife cuts and mother sauces. I also did light pantry organization.
