The Foundation for Integrated Risk Management Learning, LLC was formed in the State of Louisiana in September 2009 as a mentoring asset providing Subject Matter Experts and project team learners with focused, on-site instructor-led training modules that enhance understanding of project uncertainties and how to monetize project risks using state of the art methodology, tools and techniques. F.I.R.M.’s learning solutions are focused towards risk governance, risk communications, risk analysis, and risk response planning. Several levels of Risk Management workshops are available to clients and offered at various conference facilities in the Gulf South region of the United States and available globally to sponsoring organizations. Category B PDUs are awarded through the Project Management Institute (PMI is a registered tradename).

While participating in a NSBE regional conference here in New Orleans in November 2010, I recognized the need for me to become an advocate for encouraging opportunity-centric individuals to invest in this exceptional non-profit organization. Provides technical support for the multi million per year cavern well remediation and evaluation workover programs that deploys multiple workover rig units. Contributes technical advise for enhancing and sustaining an exceptional safety culture as well as sustaining a highly effective Risk Governance policy and risk management structure specific to the cavern well system that encompasses 120 wellbores entering 63 salt-storage caverns containing crude oil valued at more than US$70-plus billion dollars.

A holistically-structured, academically rigorous course that integrates globally practiced project management methodology with globally recognized performance excellence criteria essential to leading programs and projects that matter. This course was taught for the first time to Loyola University New Orleans College of Business MBA students during the 2011 second summer session. Three (3) semester hours were awarded by Loyola University College of Business towards an MBA Degree. Upon successful completion of this course, student-members of the Project Management Institute (PMI®) earned thirty-five (35) PDUs; thereby fulfilling the project management education requirement towards eligibility for either the PMP® or the CAPM® certification. Maximum enrollment of twenty (20) MBA students was quickly achieved; a critical testimony and recognition by faculty leadership and students that professional project management is more important to MBA graduate-leaders than ever. Having incorporated lessons learned, this twelve-session, three hours per session graduate level course will be taught the second summer session starting June 24, 2013. Course content can be tailored to challenge undergraduate students enrolled in colleges and universities within the New Orleans metropolitan region and taught exclusively by Mr. Moore starting the Fall 2013 semester. Content also can be tailored to organizations developing a high-performing project management culture with focus on solutions-based project management from the portfolio level to the individual project level. Provided leadership for the chapter's montly dinner meeting programs. Originated the “CEO Communiqué with PMI-GNO” theme program and the “Advancing Project Management Intelligence: Panel Discussion" program for 2011. PMI-GNO is a non-profit organization of professional project managers.

Functioned as program as well as resource manager for a diversely skilled team of project engineers functioning as project managers for various types of infrastructure projects essential to primary and secondary recovery of crude oil and natural gas resources.

Technical on-location support and production and reservoir engineering input to projects for economic sustainability of oil and natural gas production from several fields in SE Louisiana.
