- Accountable for the commercial period end close which involved; tracking monthly sales figures, reporting numbers to the Senior Commercial Finance and Reporting Controller, and liaising with other central finance teams to ensure the reconciliation of the reporting application and central management system (SAP).- Reconciling and managing the central commercial balance sheet on a periodic basis.- Business partnering with the sales team in order to maximise joint business plans across a number of key accounts.- Responsible for the tracking and control of consumer marketing spend and working closely with the Marketing Director to review against budgets.- Preparing forecasts on a monthly basis and completing variance analysis against key performance indicators.- Maintaining and improving a daily sales report and being the focal owner of communicating margin analysis and commentary to the wider business.- Promoting profit maximisation and margin enhancement through processing requests for new customer pricing.

Roles included supporting the Branded cross-functional team and later the Retailer Brand team whereby I became an important support in the financial analysis of key tenders with some of the UK's leading retailers.
