Founded ATOM Solutions as an IT advisory firm to address emerging needs around providing skilled consulting services and IT solutions in the energy and commodities trading arena. Initially worked in and on the business to help it stabilize and grow successfully. Tasks included managing customer acquisition and account management, HR (new hires and employee management), Finance, Accounting, Tax, Marketing, and Legal. The company grew to be a multi-million dollar organization and employed some of the most dedicated and capable resources in the market. ATOM was acquired by Capco (a Wipro company) in 2019. One of the key reasons behind ATOM's founding was to improve efficiency in the software implementation arena. We believed most software implementations took too long and cost a lot more than they should. Our team built the OnTarget Project Delivery Methodology (TM) which was utilized as a guide for by our consultants and customers to executed implementations efficiently from commencement through to go live. For Allegro implementation:• Under his leadership, the dev team finished over 100 cust extns in a few mths. Allegro utilized to manage trading, hedging, crude oil leases, transport, DO, inventory, settlement, & acctng•Led setup - Infrastructure, DB & software. Standards implemented - Dev, code migration, source ctrl, & instance mgmnt protocols•Configured security for 2 entities•Strategized the data conv effort to Allegro•User UI training; helped set up & correct ref data, contracts, & trades. Worked w/ the ticket analyst to move truck tix from the Qualcomm to the Truck Actuals & allocated them. Helped set up DO & WIO•Planned enterprise integration w/ Oracle for CPs, drivers, AR/AP/GL, Oildex, OPIS, DTN, Qualcomm, & TL2000•Led tech team in gathering reqs for extensions, developed some views & reports•Issue tracking - Maintained list & interfaced w/ Allegro to obtain status & deploy resolutions•Managed extensions in SharePoint - Reqs, design docs & approvals. SP list utilized by int & ext audit to ensure compliance w/ IT SOX ctrlsOther accomplishments:•WAN Implementation. • Involved in procuring/setting up infrastructure to support ERP apps. Devised backup & DR plans, involved in integration & custom efforts w/ offshore teams, addressed user access, help desk mgmt, & printing challenges for various CPs•Spearheaded movement of data center to a co-lo facility.•Upgraded aging hardware which led to significant improvement in sys availability & performance. Removed dependencies on dial-up modems & enabled secure trans over Internet. Real time monitoring tools added. Precise network diagrams created•Implemented MS OCS & helped select new SCADA sys• Created Intranet using SharePoint to provide collaboration & content mgmt. Created Help Desk system enabling IT to improve cust svc levels & facilitate improved tracking of cust rqsts, including change approvals. Obtained significant improvement in yearly IT SOX compliance.
