Senior Product Executive

My role was to report to the product manager and then senior to the product manager. The duties required for this role was to negotiate contracts and rates, arrange and attend meetings with suppliers/potential suppliers in the leisure, travel and tourism industry. I was also required to assist the call centre employees on any information required, help with pricing and contracts, assist with emergency assistance with bookings and provide frequent travel product knowledge training of the suppliers/brands/resorts/airlines and destinations I worked within. The destinations I worked with within this industry was United Kingdom, Europe,America, South America, Indian Ocean, Australasia area. I flew out to the call centres in other countries frequently to provide valid key training information. I also would be required to attend any events for example; World Travel Market (WTM), Airline group events and marketing events where I gathered information and communicated with the suppliers direct. I contributed direct to the product marketing strategies, product requirements and development for example in sales and negotiation. I was required to communicate internationally via telephone, email, Skype, in person or by post. I would also feedback to the directors of the company regarding my duties. I travelled frequently and built a great rapport with everyone.
