I am seeking ways of becoming a translator. I speak/write in Albanian language and English language and can speak Spanish however I am not fluent as such in Spanish I have however been studying Spanish since secondary school. I am looking of a way to enter the language translation/ linguistics industry work roles and am open to advice and guidance on how to become certified and a translator I am open to internships, voluntary work tasks for experience and am ideally looking to work within the industry.

My role was to report to the product manager and then senior to the product manager. The duties required for this role was to negotiate contracts and rates, arrange and attend meetings with suppliers/potential suppliers in the leisure, travel and tourism industry. I was also required to assist the call centre employees on any information required, help with pricing and contracts, assist with emergency assistance with bookings and provide frequent travel product knowledge training of the suppliers/brands/resorts/airlines and destinations I worked within. The destinations I worked with within this industry was United Kingdom, Europe,America, South America, Indian Ocean, Australasia area. I flew out to the call centres in other countries frequently to provide valid key training information. I also would be required to attend any events for example; World Travel Market (WTM), Airline group events and marketing events where I gathered information and communicated with the suppliers direct. I contributed direct to the product marketing strategies, product requirements and development for example in sales and negotiation. I was required to communicate internationally via telephone, email, Skype, in person or by post. I would also feedback to the directors of the company regarding my duties. I travelled frequently and built a great rapport with everyone.

I worked in flight centre retail stores. I packaged and sold holidays and tours, bookings were made in person over the phone or via email. I had regular communication with the suppliers , had weekly reports on sales targets and feedback, handled ADM’s and delivered banking. Sent out newsletters to customers in my booking system. I was involved with round the world trips, packaged holidays, uk holidays, excursions and flights only.

Sold packaged holidays, tours, excursions, flights for online customers. Using various travel systems. I worked closely with the product department and IT department. I reported to my team leader, sales trainer, sales manager and the directors. Frequently updated my knowledge on products sold such as the destinations and hotels and suppliers; this was done by product department staff members giving training. I went on FAM trips to specific destinations to experience the suppliers products sold.

Sold packaged holidays, communicated with suppliers and customers, used various travel systems for bookings price checks etc
