Operated advanced liquid handling robotics, standard molecular biology assays (cloning, PCR), cell culture, high-throughput transfection and novel protein-protein interaction platforms (LUMIER) to investigate protein-folding questions in the fields of evolution, cancer and neurodegeneration. Main projects involved using these techniques to understand the molecular and genetic mechanisms of Fanconi anemia, neurodegenerative disorders (Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s Disease) and the evolvability of phenotypic traits. In addition, operated many of the lab’s high-throughput and robotics platforms to support multiple, diverse projects and collaborations.
