Provides / recommends updates to control logic and processing system. Liaise with and direct other panels to optimise / integrate plant. Learning and development - Provide on the job training / guidance for less experienced operators.Internal communications - Informal direction to other panel operators to optimise across panels.External communications - Represent operations in hazops, design reviews, etc.Maintenance interface - Focal point for complex permittary and hot work / CSE / Gas work practices. Focal point for maintenance issues in areas of expertise.Shutdowns – Preparation of shutdown permit hierarchy. Leads shutdowns with Lead Prod Tech / OTL signing authority.Emergency response – Team leader in “attack team” in an ER situation under the guidance of Lead Prod Tech / OTL.

Provide operational experience for: HAZOP, HAZID, RATS, FATs, SIF review, NOPSEMA actions, SD preparations, Safety case update, Environmental update, ISSoW competency assurances, CICC, numerous squad checks for projects for the upgrade of the facility.

* Operation / Surveillance / Routines - Proactive surveillance to avoid upsets.* DCS and control systems - Operate process to meet production targets within the operating integrity envelope, prompt response to alarms and action as appropriate. Maintain a minimum of active alarms.* Optimisation - Able to interpret DCS feedback and outside operator input to diagnose process problems. * Emergency response - Able to initiate ER and make equipment safe without direction.
