Our pro-bono coaching programs empower women to improve their circumstances, which ripples change in all areas of their lives. In the past two years, I worked on teams to develop group training programs that reach a wider audience regardless of gender or circumstance. These programs have opened opportunities for partnerships with organizations serving military caregivers, spouses, and service members and increased options for corporation training and sponsorship.I am currently serving as President of the Board (2022-2023) and also work on various committees, including Special Project Development, and Staffing. Along with my volunteer time, I am actively involved in fund raising and grant writing and donate to the work of One to One.

I support the superintendent with district level communication to build a positive, inclusive, and cohesive image of the district. Working with school administration, teachers, and a communication team, we produce the district newsletter, update Facebook pages and website, and deliver biweekly district news releases. Working with a variety of volunteer groups, I assist with communication of recommendations, events, and results. I utilize both in person and remote working arrangements. This is a very involved position requiring advanced writing skills, use of technology, and ability to coordinate with a variety of people and personalities.Major accomplishments include successful voter endorsement of two building referendums for a new high school and a performing arts center, and successful voter endorsement of a funding referendum.In addition to the communication and engagement work, I managed grant applications. The district successfully received funding for a range of projects from classroom programs to new playground equipment to multi-building safety improvements.

I started at River Falls Municipal Utilities as an Executive Secretary. From 2002-2012, I held the position of Office Manager. River Falls Municipal Utilities manages the Electric, Water and Sewer Utilities for the City of River Falls. I think it is incredible that a small group of business owners formed a power company in 1900 and shortly after turned it over to the City. The City has successfully managed the electric needs of the community ever since. A lot has changed from then. The initial mission was to provide street lighting for downtown businesses. Today, the electric utility is expected to provide this essential service in an environmental way through renewal resources and energy conservation/education. It's an incredibly exciting time for this industry!As Office manager, I oversaw day to day office processes including administration, finance, IT coordination, and human resources. I assisted the General Manager with labor contract negotiations, lease management, and financing. In my role, I represented the utility in community functions, association meetings, and city committees. I provided human resources support for mangers and prepare employee communication opportunities through meetings, correspondence, and training.
