- Performed research through online resources and one-to-one contact with the relevant departments in other provincial and foreign governments to compare and contrast Alberta’s Oil and Gas fiscal regime with similar regimes such as United States, requiring interpretation of complicated U.S. legislation.- Attended design meetings, reviewed design document and otherwise aided design communication between Economists in the Natural Gas Development Business Unit and programmers in the IT Unit for production of a new proprietary economic modeling tool.- Studied the effects of the governmental policies and the royalty system on energy development to gain an understanding of the workings of Alberta’s Oil & Gas industry.

- Selected and assigned a sample of businesses to be surveyed the Population Research Lab at the University of Alberta for the Alberta Treasury Branch Business Sentiments Index.- Compiled results from the survey into the periodical publication, working with a lead Economist, former President of the North American Economics and Finance Association.- Updated the publication’s layout to provide enhanced design and formatting. - Connected the WCER publication process with academic economic publishing databases (e.g. REPEC).- Received a fellowship to assist the Alberta Ministry of International and Intergovernmental Relations in their research and report on the effects of bilateral trade agreements on the Alberta export economy in light of the suspension of the WTO Doha Round.

Coordinated the development of casual games and high-end 3D gaming graphics for a variety of platforms, with the support of 4 local Chinese and 2 Canadian graphics developers.

- Wrote up a new methodology for collection and analysis of power consumption data of appliances.- Gathered data on power consumption of household appliances through the cooperation of several major retail outlets such as Sears Canada and A&B Sound).- Analyzed in-use office equipment at the Legal Aid Society of Alberta using SPSS to identify differences in average power consumption in varying modes of operation, with a focus on idle power consumption.- Wrote a comprehensive report on the various findings for Natural Resources Canada.
