With over 20 years professional experience in northern Canada I have successfully worked in multiple sectors and always at the community level. My passion lies in engaging a cross-section of communities, governments and stakeholders in fish, wildlife management planning, conservation conflicts and habitat protection. With expertise in community engagement, facilitation, community-based planning, project management, negotiations and outreach my skills are diverse enough to support a wide variety of client and project needs. This includes having worked alongside all levels of governments nin the implementation of various treaties and agreements. Project interests include: international work in fisheries and community-based planning, small-scale fisheries, indigenous fish and wildlife management planning, local and traditional knowledge, catch and release, human dimensions in fisheries, conservation conflict transformation, and communications and outreach. Currently working with international partners in the US, Africa and supporting a new umbrella international fisheries related NGO called Infinity SES.

The Transboundary Panel is established pursuant to Chapter 1 (Transboundary Rivers) of the Pacific Salmon Treaty ( https://www.psc.org/publications/pacific-salmon-treaty/ ), and is responsible for overseeing the co-operative (U.S. / Canada) implementation of the Transboundary Chapter which applies to salmon stocks originating from the Canadian portions of the Alsek, Taku and Stikine River watersheds in northwestern British Columbia and southwest Yukon and associated fisheries in southeast Alaska terminal marine and B.C./Yukon in-river areas. The Transboundary Panel is comprised of 14 members, 7 appointed by Canada and 7 appointed by the U.S.. -
