Working within a centralized, quantitatively specialized team (Demography and Survey Science), I conduct monetization research to inform business decisions at the platform and company level. Recent topics have included: (1) Developing company-level decision metrics on ad delivery systems across Facebook and Instagram, in partnership with data science; (2) Opportunity sizing, pricing, benefits, and launch of Meta Verified across Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp using survey experiments and log-data analyses; and (3) Attention and brand perception work on ads and adjacent content

As a member of the Survey Science team in the Demography and Survey Science group, I study and manage the various survey platforms Facebook, Inc manages. I also conduct original research on topics such as sampling efficiency, item psychometrics, and survey fatigue, in order to make collection and analysis of survey data more efficient, valid, reliable, and sustainable.

I use mixed methods to understand people and their experiences and attitudes of ads on Facebook. I measure not only how people's experiences with ads inform their perceptions of Facebook the product, but also Facebook the company.

Findings presented at Mobile HCI 2014, HICSS 2015 (best paper award nominee), and ICA 2016 (best paper award).● Conduct repeated measure within-subject counterbalanced experiment on the relationship between spatial footprint (where someone has been) and whether or not a stranger would like to get to know them.
