This role was to manage The Construction and Outdoor Events business for Tildenet Group. Working within an FMCG company providing materials on a wholesale, distributor and retail environment. Customers included the organisers for highly prestigious events like The Commonwealth Games, Ryder Cup and The British Open (golf) together with many professional sports teams including Premiership Football Clubs etc.Within a short period, I was made Sales Manager and also took Sports Fencing Division under my wing due to its technical and complex build nature.1. Produced record figures for the division ever recorded.2. My sales target for the 2014 period was £209k profit, my extended target was £289K and I achieved £355k for this period.3. Given the task of running Sports Fencing Contracts, a very technical sale, within 3 months of joining the firm.Had the makings of a great Company but after hitting 170% of your target and contracted bonuses are not paid with your extra efforts not rewarded or appreciated, I felt the need to move on. I was the longest serving employee at the time which gives an idea of their staff retention. Shame as I really enjoyed the business sector and team members.

I took this role with a previous business colleague's new business start-up for the Midlands / South West area. This was following my success in winning new business and experience in dealing with “sub-prime” customers in my previous roles within mortgages. My role is to win new customers for motor finance on car sales through direct marketing and through leads from all other local used car dealerships. My KPI’s include :-1. Exceeding my target within 3 months of starting the role and consistently achieving over 120% of target each month.2. Place customers into cars with appropriate tier of lending for finance 3. Maintain relationships and upto date knowledge on all motor finance providers to ensure best advice is given.4. Build relationships with other local car dealers to win business for our niche finance product.Reason for leaving: Business owners shut down business due to poor continued health of the wife and moved away from area back to Oxfordshire.
