Currently Executive Vice President and Chief Sales & Marketing Officer for Marriott Vacations Worldwide. During his 7 years in CA, John and his team have increased sales 225% to over $73m annually and dramatically improved margins. Newport Coast was named "Resort of the Year" for 3 consecutive years 2013, 2014, and 2015 achieving the best performance in each category of sales volume, margin, associate engagement and customer satisfaction.Prior to this role, John was the VP of Marketing for The Ritz-Carlton Destination Club for over 5 years. He was responsible for leading the complete rebranding efforts from The Ritz-Carlton Club to The Ritz-Carlton Destination Club in 2009. At its peak, RCDC sold over $800m of luxury fractional and private residential products annually.John has over 30 years tenure in hospitality with best in class sales, marketing, and branding experience. As a direct and database marketer, John has sold literally millions of vacation packages through direct marketing efforts. As a sales leader, John has directly led teams selling over $1B in real estate. John has a proven ability to create, nurture, and leverage strategic alliances with companies such as American Express, Hertz, American Airlines, Chase Cards, Marriott, Sotheby's, Mercedes-Benz, and more.
