Leveraging a comprehensive background in software and cloud engineering, my journey at IBM has spanned roles across IBM Cloud and I/O and Z Mainframe teams, marking significant contributions to infrastructure automation, cloud services, and blockchain solutions. During my tenure as a Software/Cloud Engineer in the IBM Cloud division, I was instrumental in developing and testing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions with Terraform, significantly enhancing sandbox environment provisioning for 7 IBM Cloud teams. My expertise in deploying IBM Cloud infrastructure through GitLab CI/CD pipelines and implementing a robust OAuth 2.0 workflow for over 200 Active Directory users underscores my ability to streamline processes and fortify security.Transitioning to a role focused on I/O and Z Mainframe, I analyzed IBM Z Cloud's performance using advanced monitoring tools like Grafana and InfluxDB, pinpointing and addressing critical performance bottlenecks. My work in establishing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins for Python testing environments further augmented IBM Cloud Services for Z mainframe code production. Additionally, I pioneered Swift-OS applications to demonstrate IBM Z AI capabilities on the cloud, integrating IBM Cloud Services such as Speech-to-Text and Text-to-Speech, driven by the innovative vision of IBM Z AI team leads and fellows. At Hughes Network Systems (EchoStar), my role as a Software/Network Engineer allowed me to dive deep into the intricacies of network engineering, focusing on automation, performance analysis, and API development to support satellite internet connectivity. I crafted extensive Python scripts for automated network connectivity testing, a critical initiative that ensured uninterrupted internet access for thousands of users in rural Central America. This task not only showcased my technical proficiency but also highlighted my commitment to leveraging technology for social impact.In addition to my contributions to network testing, I was involved in the maintenance and development of C++ code for efficient data packet and shared memory management from Satellite Gateway connections. This work was fundamental in optimizing the throughput and reliability of our satellite internet services.My use of Wireshark for the analysis of Terminal (Router) TCP/IP packets was instrumental in resolving user connectivity issues and enhancing network performance monitoring. This detailed packet analysis provided invaluable insights into network behavior, facilitating the identification and resolution of complex network issues.Furthermore, I developed web-based REST APIs in Python to facilitate interactions with Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite gateways, serving over 100 customers.
