I am currently working as a Forensic Scientist specializing in Serology and DNA at an ISO 17025 certified state-owned laboratory at the Punjab Forensic Science Agency in Lahore, Pakistan. I am fully trained in serology and DNA analysis, with hands-on experience of working with approximately hundred training samples from various categories, including transfer DNA, human remains (nails, hair, bones), biological fluids and differential extraction samples. My expertise encompasses one step and two steps organic extraction, extraction via Automate Express, PrepFiler and PrepFiler BTA kits, quantification , amplification, genotyping via using 3500 Genetic Analyzer, STR analysis, and mixture interpretation with probabilistic genotyping.In my role, I am actively involved in routine serology work, complete DNA analysis from extraction to developing profiles and interpretation of complex mixture profiles, case file documentation, report writing, and peer technical reviews.
